Clean up Australia @ Kurmond

Clean Up Australia Day is one of Australia’s largest community based environmental events. Thirty years ago, an “average Australian bloke”, sailor Ian Kiernan, was shocked by the amount of pollution and rubbish he encountered in the oceans of the world. Starting with a simple event that began in his own backyard, he has inspired and empowered communities all over Australia to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.

Students are encouraged to ensure they pack their hats and water bottles, and bring gloves on the day.
