School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

School assemblies
School assemblies are held in the school hall each Friday afternoon at 2.30pm. They end by the afternoon pick up time, making it convenient for parents and carers to attend. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
P&C meetings
Date: The 3rd Tuesday of each month
Time: 7.00pm
Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month unless it is school holidays. They are held in the school library. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Open day
Date: Education Week Open Day is usually held in Week 3 of Term 3
Time: TBA
School open day is an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school and celebrate students' learning in our amazing school.
Easter Hat Parade
Each year we hold a Easter Hat Parade for our K-2 students. Parents and carers are invited to attend. During this time, the P&C draw the annual Easter raffle. The parade is held the week before Easter occurs.
Book Week
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week. This generally occurs in Term 3 each year.
Swimming carnival
The annual school swimming carnival occurs early in Term 1. It is held at Richmond Swimming Pools. All students in Years 3 - 6 attend the carnival and any student who is in Year 2 turning 8 years of age is also invited if they can confidently swim 50metres. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Cross country carnival
The annual school cross country carnival is held at the end of Term 1. The carnival is held on our school grounds. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Athletics carnival
The annual school athletics carnival is held at the end of Term 2. It is held at McMahon's Park in Kurrajong. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
End of year concert
At the end of Term 4, the school organises an end of year concert. Students perform in their class groups and performance groups. We invite our community to come together for a picnic and enjoy our students' performances. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
